How this plan works
- Even days, not five Psalms a day. Five Psalms a day would put Psalm 119's 176 verses on the same day as four others. This plan balances by verses: Psalm 119 is a day on its own, and short Psalms are read together, up to eleven in one day (Psalms 121–131).
- Any length. 30 days is about 82 verses a day. Pick 90 days for about 27, or a year for six or seven verses a day.
- Your ticks stay here. Ticks are kept in this browser. The copied link holds your choices, so it opens the same plan on another device; the ticks don't travel with it.
Questions
How long does it take to read all the Psalms?
The 150 Psalms have 2,461 verses: about 82 verses a day over 30 days, 15 minutes or so.
Why isn't it five Psalms a day?
The Psalms range from 2 verses (Psalm 117) to 176 (Psalm 119), so five a day makes some days ten times longer than others. Splitting by verses keeps the days even.
Can I read the Psalms in a year?
Yes. Change the length to one year: about seven verses a day, a Psalm every two or three days.
Can I read Psalms alongside another plan?
Make a second plan here for the same dates and print both; each keeps its own ticks.
